Francine Adair, MS, LCSW | In-Person & Online

Francine Adair graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work. She holds a license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). As a mother of four, Francine has personal experience with individuals who have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She has a strong commitment to the LGBTQ community, which is influenced by her family members who belong to this community.

Francine has worked with families in various settings, including roles as a school social worker, behavior management specialist, and investigator and Title IV-E specialist at the Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD). She employs a range of therapeutic modalities, such as attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed CBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care, gender-affirming care, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and substance abuse counseling.

Francine serves children, youth, adults, couples, and families. Her passion lies in helping parents and children, as well as couples and families, learn to communicate in ways that strengthen relationships. Francine holds the belief that there are no bad parents, only parents who lack the necessary tools.

Angelika Van Grinsven, MA, LPCC | In-person ONly

Angelika is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She graduated from Regent University, VA, in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program with a Master’s Certificate in Trauma Counseling. She is trained in EMDR and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), with additional training in dissociative disorders, addiction, relational trauma, and IFS concepts. Angelika is also working on her dissertation for her PhD. 
Trauma, like medical and abuse or natural disasters, affects every part of life; it creates many issues. Angelika teaches practical coping skills and helps clients explore and heal the past. She has experience with Domestic Violence, Substance Use, complex or developmental PTSD, LGBTQAI+, Depression, Anxiety, Dissociation, DID, suicide, and military concerns.
Past trauma and negative experiences affect present choices and behaviors. Once trauma is healed, a person can choose freely without avoiding triggers. If you are tired of just talk therapy and want real progress, you are in the right place. If you prefer someone direct, knowledgeable, and caring, Angelika is the counselor for you.
